ICT Spring 2016 is a European leader in ICT conferences. This year’s global tech fair was a successful event for LSBC as a b2fair partner since we were visited by Luxembourg PM Xavier Bettel and H.E. Matjaz Sinkovec, as much as for five Slovenian companies that attended the event with LSBC. These are Comtrade, Analitica, Skylabs, Cosylabs, and ProNew Tech respectfully.
Sixth place for LSBC at Slovenia Business Run
LSBC was one of the partners of Slovenia Business Run, an annual charitable event, where business men and women participate in a run around lake Bled. This year there has been 42 teams participating in category triples mixed where we have achieved sixth place, 28 teams in category triples men, and 18 teams in triples women.

The opening of the ABC Acceleration Business City in BTC City in Ljubljana, a venue for promoting new businesses and startups, was also the opportunity for bestowing the prestigious awards for best startups (CESA – Central European Startup Awards) on a national level. The award for the Slovenian startup of the year was given to GoOpti, a hi-tech platform that connects carrier companies with passengers in need of a guaranteed transport adapted to their time limits and budget.

Presentation of Slovenia and its economy, accompanied with joint stand organized by LSBC and supported by Embassy of Slovenia in Brussels completed successfully. Slovenian companies conducted more than 100 meetings, exhibition space was visited by dozens of representatives from various companies and institutions from Luxembourg and other countries. We were extremely proud of the fact that Slovenian stand was the only one with two Red Dot Award winner 2015 – a prestigious award for outstanding design.
