Job Description:

We are looking for a Community Manager Intern (Unpaid) for our CISpace Project in Berlin, Germany. You are responsible for the smooth running, improvement and development of our CISpace in Berlin.

CISpace Project is a new concept of coworking space that evolved from LSBC experience and practice. Berlin is our CISpace first pilot location that opens its doors in July 2020 to LSBC members, visitors and guests such as professionals, entrepreneurs, freelancers and students.

CISpace Berlin is a co-working café focused on building intelligent collaboration, knowledge sharing and creating networks. It is a comfortable and collaborative environment where professionals, entrepreneurs, freelancers and students network, share ideas, knowledge and expertise through sharing a workspace. Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Ensure the effective day-day activities of the CISpace
  • Greeting clients and providing guest service
  • Ensuring the quality of the service by solving daily problems or complaints
  • Establishing a friendly relationship with regular clients
  • Communicating with the remote marketing team
  • Providing business ideas and implementing them
  • Work remotely and attend weekly team meetings and a co-working atmosphere
  • Attend and take part in general and department meetings

Qualifications: 

Luxembourg-Slovenian Business Club is looking for the following criteria in an Intern:

  • A minimum of Bachelor degree in Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Independent working, proactiveness, take the initiative and handling uncertainty
  • Able to lead a team and manage complains
  • Good organisational and management skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and follow instructions
  • Time management and multitasking skills
  • Positive attitude and can-do mentality
  • Flexible; loves challenges and willing to continuously learn
  • Good spoken and written English language
  • Client-satisfaction and service-oriented mindset
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Documents, Sheets and Slides
  • Previous experience in a similar role and/or Project Management is an advantage
  • Eligibility to participate in the Erasmus+ Internship program is a plus
  • Can physically work in Germany for the internship duration. Residency in Germany is an advantage
  • A minimum of A1/A2 German level. German fluency is an advantage

Duration and Remuneration:

  • Part-time and flexible start date, preferably in the shortest time possible
  • Minimum two months duration, more is a plus
  • 20 hours per week with flexible working hours
  • Unpaid, gain valuable learning and/or working experience
